The Thirteenth Territorial Legislature established Arizona State University (ASU) in 1885 as the Territorial Normal School to provide education in mechanical arts and agriculture. ASU now has 17 colleges and institutions that provide over 350 undergraduate programmes and majors, as well as over 450 graduate programmes and certificates. Accommodation

Freshmen are required to live in a residential college community on campus. The students reside in fully equipped rooms on campus, close to their majors. Campus

ASU has four campuses in the Phoenix metropolitan area and one in Lake Havasu City. Students can participate in on-campus research programmes and internships in a variety of subjects. Students from 50 states, 136 nations, 230 tribal nations, and 13,000 international students make up the student body. Students can also become members of the ASU mentor network. ASU has over 1,000 student clubs and organisations that engage students in fitness and recreation activities, among other things. LGBTQIA+, sports, women, indigenous organisations, and other club categories are examples.
