International students enrolled in bachelor's programmes must be prepared to pay tuition fees of around 40,000 NZD (21 lakhs), while graduate programmes demand 50,000 NZD. Aside from tuition, students must budget for living expenses in New Zealand.

Accommodation is available at each of Auckland University of Technology's three campuses. Because the city campus is the largest, it has two types of lodging facilities.
