The institution was founded in 1942 on Algonquin territory between the Rideau Canal and the Rideau River, near downtown Ottawa. Carleton University offers 65 undergraduate and graduate degrees across 50 disciplines. Cost of attendance

Students enrolling in undergraduate programs are required to pay 68,000 CAD whereas graduate programs require 55,000 CAD (37 lakhs) including tuition fees, living expenses, and traveling.

Accommodation

University students can choose between on-campus and off-campus housing. The Residence Complex offers two types of living arrangements: classic and suite-style. Carleton charges separate fees for accommodation and food. An average student's on-campus accommodation costs roughly $7,704, and an average eating plan costs $6,954. The average monthly rent for off-campus accommodation is from 830 to 1025 CAD.

The total number of students enrolled at the university are 30416. Approximately 22% of our graduate student population is made up of international students and many of our other students were born outside of Canada making Carletona a distinctly international university. The acceptance rate 22%.

Campus

Carleton University's 62-hectare campus is located south of Ottawa's city centre, next to the official historic UNESCO World Heritage Site - Rideau Canal. Along with architectural marvels such as the Carleton Technology. The University's buildings are linked by five kilometres of underground tunnels. The campus comprises 20 academic buildings and more than 200 programmes. Every year, the institution has approximately 200 active student clubs, societies, and organisations on campus.

Carleton University, a founding member of the Council of Ontario Universities, enjoys full accreditation by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities of the Province of Ontario. 

Jobs and Placement

Carleton's Career Services assists students with job search assistance as well as on-campus career counselling. Workshops, peer mentorship programmes, career exploration network events, job shadow programmes, career cycles, and so on are also included. The average placement offered to Carleton University alumni once they complete their degrees is 86000 CAD (52 lakhs).
