Claremont Graduate University, founded in 1925, is a well-known private research university in Claremont, California. The university, often known as CGU, is a self-governing institution that only offers graduate academic programmes. For 37 years, it was known as University College, but in 1962, it was renamed Claremont Graduate School and University Center. Claremont Graduate University currently provides roughly 100 master's programmes, 35 doctoral programmes, 26 dual degrees, and a variety of other certificate courses to overseas students.
