Emory University
Emory Institution, founded in 1836, is a private research university. It is affiliated with the United Methodist Church and is the second oldest university in the United States, ranking second among the country's 50 oldest institutions. Under its nine schools and colleges, Emory University provides more than 70 undergraduate programmes, more than 40 Ph.D. programmes, and several graduate and professional courses in subjects including as business, law, health, nursing, and theology, among others.

SILT is a student involvement initiative at the university (Student Involvement, Leadership, and Transitions).
