Florida International University
Florida International University is a well-known research-based public university that is noted for providing its students with a high-quality education. It was established in 1965. FIU has two main campuses and nine other campuses. The two main campuses, Maidique Campus and Biscayne Bay Campus, are fairly large and feature all of the amenities. Both campuses offer lodging, eating, and library services. There are nearly 300 clubs and organisations on the FIU campuses. There are regular performances of theatre, music, and visual arts. On-campus medical treatments and psychiatric counselling are free or low-cost. There are also several recreational opportunities.


Florida International University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award baccalaureate, masters, and doctoral degrees. FIU is reaffirmed every ten years by the SACSCOC.
