Florida Polytechnic University
Randy Avent, the president of Florida Polytechnic University, created the university as an independent entity in 2012. It is a public institution in Lakeland, Florida, that was established as a branch campus of the University of South Florida. It is the state's sole public polytechnic institution, with a primary focus on offering excellent, affordable STEM education to its students while keeping modern industry expectations in mind, making it a well-known name in the US education system.
