Kansas State University
KSU, usually known as Kansas State or K-State, is a public research university in Kansas. It was the first public school of higher learning in Kansas when it opened in 1863 as the state's land-grant college. Kansas State University now admits overseas students to 250 undergraduate and 165 graduate degree and certificate programmes.

The Olathe campus, which opened in 2011, is the university's newest location. The Kansas Bioscience Park is home to this campus. Academic and professional clubs, honorary societies, multicultural groups, art and culture, religion, and spirit are all active among students. There are 30 sports club teams. Each year, Intramural Sports programmes welcome 60 individual and sports teams. Furthermore, K-State Athletics is the most important student team in the country.


Kansas State University is regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, or HLC, of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and has held this accreditation since 1916.
