Mississippi College, located in Clinton, Mississippi, is one of the state's oldest private universities. The college is linked with the Mississippi Baptist Convention and is regarded as one of the greatest Christian colleges in the country. It was the first coeducational college in the United States to provide a degree to a female student. Mississippi College now provides Undergraduate and Postgraduate Degrees in both an on-campus and online format. Campus

Mississippi College is situated on 320 acres near Clinton, Mississippi. It has both on-campus and off-campus housing for students. There are around 50 Student Organizations and Societies on campus. Accounting Society, Alpha Chi, Alpha Epsilon Delta, and other academic societies are also present. Students are even encouraged to form their own organisations. Welcome Week, Follies (in which students perform skits to entertain students, professors, family, and others), Swerve, and Miss MC are also enjoyable.

Mississippi College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award baccalaureate, masters, education specialists, and doctorates.

Jobs and Placement

Mississippi College maintains a Career Services Office that assists current students and recent alumni in obtaining internships, employment, and advancement in their careers. It connects students to local, regional, and national employers. The Office of Career Services aids students through Resume Feedback, Interview Coaching, On Campus Interviews, and career coaching. Republic Finance and Farm Bureau Insurance are two of its Employer Partners. Asbury Theological Seminary, Ashford Advisors, Atmos Energy Inc, Boosterthon, Blue Cross Blue Shield of MS, CSpire, May, and Co, and Morgan White Group are among the employers participating in Career Day.
