Monroe College is a private college and graduate school in the United States that was founded in 1933 as a women's business school in the Bronx. Initially, it was known as the "Monroe School of Business." It was renamed Monroe Business Institute after becoming an approved junior college in 1972. Today, the college offers over 45 associate, bachelor's, and master's degree programmes in 38+ fields of study through its 7 academic schools, which include Allied Health Professions, Business and Accounting, Criminal Justice, Education, Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management, Information Technology, and Nursing.
