NEC is a private liberal arts college located in Henniker, New Hampshire. New England College was founded in 1946 to fulfil the requirements of troops and women attending college under the G.I. Bill following World War II. The Tortington Park School for Girls in Arundel, West Sussex, England, was purchased by the college in 1970.
