Northwestern University
NNorthwestern University, usually known as NWU, is a private research university that was established in 1851. Almost all of its undergraduate programmes are among the most competitive in the country. Kellogg School of Management, Feinberg School of Medicine, Pritzker School of Law, and Medill School of Journalism are among the University's highly regarded graduate and professional institutions. Students can pick from 15 full-time master's degree programmes and four part-time master's degree programmes at its engineering school, the Robert R. McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science.

NWU's campus, which spans 379 acres, is separated into two sections. The Evanston campus is the first, while the Chicago campus is the second. Both campuses are 12 miles apart. Engineering students attend the Evanston site, while students attending the law school, medical school, School of Professional Studies, and part-time MBA programme attend the Chicago campus. The university libraries serve as the primary library system for the university's major campuses in Evanston, Illinois. The library contains 7.9 million articles in its collection, including 107,446 print journals and 173,089 electronic journals. Both campuses are peppered with buildings that are created in various architectural styles and contain cutting-edge facilities. The University's library system has about 5 million books. There are also great recreation centres, aquatics centres, and athletic centres on campus.


Northwestern University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), one of six regional accreditors in the U.S. that provide institutional accreditation for higher education.
