Campus

In addition to the residential campus in Athens, Ohio, five regional campuses are located in Lancaster, Southern Ohio, Chillicothe, Eastern, and Zanesville. The university offers around 600 clubs and organisations, as well as 30 fraternities and sororities. It is one of the top 50 safest campuses in the country (National Council for Home Safety and Security 2017). The institute also features seven art galleries on campus, including the Kennedy Museum of Art, the Ohio University Art Gallery, the Trisolini Gallery, and the Cube 4 Gallery. In addition to research facilities, the Learning Resource Center and Clinical Training and Assessment Centers are available. Furthermore, Ohio University owns The Athena Cinema, an on-campus movie theatre.
