Queen's offers applicants a variety of convenient and inexpensive housing alternatives, both on and off campus. While there aren't many budget-friendly housing alternatives in Vancouver and Toronto, Kingston is a student's dream in this regard. Over 4,500 students are housed in the university's 17 residence halls, which are both affordable and only a 20-minute walk from campus. First-year students typically prefer to live on campus since it is less expensive, safer, and more convenient at all times. The cost of a Loft Double room with a Meal Plan is approximately $8023. Kingston has a plethora of off-campus housing options for students, including rental units, shared and independent apartments, and houses, among others. Off-campus accommodation costs on average 1050 CAD per month.

Campus

The university lies in Kingston, a small town in central Ontario that is a three-hour journey from the major cities of Montreal, Ottawa, and Toronto. It has some lovely summers and autumns, with maple leaves colouring the entire area yellow and red. Winters, on the other hand, can be bitterly cold and windy. Kingston is a place that is equally outstanding in terms of education and beauty, with loads of fantastic cuisine and cafes, every basic facility within walking distance, a number of parks and grassy places, and a breathtakingly beautiful 166 acres of campus property. Kingston, with its decidedly European air, is a one-of-a-kind and wonderful place to visit. The area is a foodie's paradise, with several fantastic restaurants serving a mouth-watering array of dishes. In fact, Kingston is thought to have the most restaurants per capita in all of Canada. The area is a close-knit community humming with activity, with some beautiful neighbourhoods, historic attractions, old limestone buildings, and plenty of coffee and tea shops to hang out at.

Accredition

All residency programs at Queen's University are accredited, either by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) or the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC).

Five years later, the average wage of a Queen's graduate is $52,500 USD, which is higher than the national average. According to an employment survey, the university ranks fifth in Canada for its employment rate, with 90 percent of its students working within six months of graduation. The major sectors where one can find a job post a degree from Queen’s include healthcare, education, government services, tourism, culture, and industry.
