Accommodation

Finding suitable accommodation is one of the most difficult tasks for an international candidate. In this regard, the university provides three catered residential halls and five self-catering options. Founder's Hall, Reid Halls, and the Kingswood 1 and 2 complexes are all catered halls. George Eliot, Gowar and Wedderburn, Highfield Court, Williamson, Tuke and Butler, Runnymede 1 and 2, and Penrose Court are self-catered halls. Accommodation halls are well-equipped with appealing amenities such as laundry, television, lounges, common areas, sports halls, study areas, and so on. The total cost of the residential complexes ranges between 3,636.99 GBP and 8,829.70 GBP.

Acceptance rate

The total number of students enrolled at the university are 11,480 students, 1,822 are international (outside the EU) students. With an acceptance rate of 16.98%, Royal Holloway has a highly selective admissions policy. 

Campus

Royal Holloway, University of London is one of the most beautiful campuses in the world, spanning 135 acres and studded with lush greenery. The campus acts as a nexus for the teaching and study areas, bars, dining areas, lodging, and sports complex. Except for Kingswood Hall, the most of the instructional facilities are located on campus. The Picture Gallery, which houses Thomas Hollowsay's collection of paintings, is housed in the Founder's Building. The campus's sports complex comprises two grass football grounds, a cricket pitch, a rugby pitch, eight tennis courts, and five netball courts. Over 600,000 books and 40,000 print and online journals are housed in the Royal Holloway library. The campus is close to various recreational areas, including a theatre, Warner Bros. Studio - where Harry Potter was created, Watford, Thorpe Park, and others. The facility contains multi-purpose sports halls, a 46-station workout suite, an aerobics area, and fitness centres.

Accredition

Royal Holloway's School of Business and Management achieves AACSB accreditation. Joining an exclusive group of less than 6% of the world's business schools, the School of Business and Management at Royal Holloway, University of London, now holds business accreditation from AACSB International.

Jobs and Placement

Royal Holloway University of London has launched a micro-placement scheme, which provides a limited number of work experience placements to interested Mathematics students. From June through September, this scheme is offered. Furthermore, 92 percent of graduates are hired by world-renowned companies such as Google, Xerox, Capita, Siemens, and others. Employees with a Royal Holloway degree earn an average of $139k.
