Saginaw Valley State Institution, founded in 1963, is a public university in Michigan, United States. Saginaw Valley State College, Saginaw Valley College, and Delta Senior University were all previous names for the university. It is Michigan's newest open university, one of 15 in the state. Later, the university started providing a four-year liberal arts programme. In 2013, the institution began a campaign called "Talent. Opportunity. Promise" with the goal of generating $25 million. Saginaw Valley State University now has almost 110 undergraduate majors, 11 master's degree programmes, and 1 doctoral degree programme.
