Saint Leo University, located in St. Leo, Florida, is a private Roman Catholic liberal arts university. It was founded in 1889. The university is affiliated with the Benedictine convent Holy Name Monastery and the Benedictine monastery Saint Leo Abbey. Saint Leo University now offers 159 programmes to overseas students. The institution offers 69 bachelor's degrees and 40 master's studies. Aside from these, individuals can apply for 5 doctorates, many associate degrees, and 42 minors. The Student Government Union (SGU) is responsible for managing institute activities and is made up of five elected members. 


Saint Leo University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate, bachelor's, master's, specialist, and doctoral degrees.
