Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) is a private, non-profit art college with campuses in Savannah, Atlanta, and Lacoste, France. Founded in 1978 to award degrees in programmes not previously available in the southeast of the United States, the institution today has two Georgia campuses, a degree-granting online education programme, and a study abroad facility in Lacoste, France. Savannah College of Art & Design now offers more than 40 majors, 75 minors, and certificate programmes, as well as access to various learning centres across the world.
