The University of Manchester
The University of Manchester was founded in 2004 by the merger of Victoria University of Manchester and the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST). It is located on Oxford Road in England. It is a public research red brick university modelled after the civic university movement of the late nineteenth century. The institution is also a member of the prestigious Russell Group.
