The University of Nottingham began as a Civic College, the first of its type in Nottingham, and eventually relocated to its current main campus, University Park. There are 13 self-catered resident halls at University Park and two halls on Jubilee Campus, as well as two residence halls (Melton and Cloister hall) reserved solely for graduates and five catered residence halls. Students at the Royal Derby Hospital Medical School and the Lincoln Medical School have access to extra residences. Wi-Fi, bike storage, 24-hour security, and secure sites, laundry, kettle, toaster, microwave, oven, common rooms, fridge and freezer, lounge area, and free view TV are among the amenities. The average monthly rent for on-campus housing ranges from £1,580 to £14,225. The typical monthly rent for off-campus living is £400-£650.

Campus

The University of Nottingham has eight campuses in total, including campuses in Malaysia and China. University Park Campus is the main campus of the university in the United Kingdom. Nottingham University Business School, School of Education and Computer Science, National College of Leadership of Schools, and Children's Service all have offices on Jubilee Campus. The School of Biosciences and Veterinary Medicine is located on the Sutton Bonington Campus. Manuscripts and Special Collections are housed in the King's Meadow Campus, which is a non-teaching facility. Across the UK and other overseas campuses, the University of Nottingham UK has ten libraries that house hundreds of eBooks, e-journals, and databases. The institution features two student theatres, 70 different sports clubs, and other facilities for amusement and a balanced campus life.
