Trine University was founded in 1884 as Tri-State Normal College and changed its name in 2008. It was done to honour Drs. Ralph and Sheri Trine, who were university trustees. Trine University is dedicated to quality and has upheld its standards for almost 135 years. There are graduate and undergraduate programmes available. It is comprised of five schools and a college: the Allen School of Engineering and Computing, the Franks School of Education, the Jannen School of Arts and Sciences, the Ketner School of Business, the Rinker-Ross School of Health Sciences, and the College of Graduate and Professional Studies.

Campus

Trine University's main campus in Angola, Indiana, spans approximately 450 acres. The institute also operates satellite campuses in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Detroit, Michigan. The Zollner Golf Course, athletic stadium, tennis facility, Fabiani Theatre, Bowling Alley, housing facilities, academic buildings, and administration building are all part of the main campus. The university campus is a welcoming environment for all athletes, and it presently serves 600 student-athletes who compete in 32 different sports for both men and women, such as hockey and golf.
