The University of Greenwich was founded as Woolwich Polytechnic in 1890 and got its first CGLI certificate in 1892. The institution was elevated to the level of university in 1992 and called the University of Greenwich. Today, the University of Greenwich offers programmes in four faculties: engineering and science, liberal arts and sciences, education, health, and human sciences, and business. Campus
