The Recreation and Wellbeing Department of the University of Idaho provides activities, services, facilities, and equipment to enhance the university learning experience. Among the programmes available are fitness, intramural sports, outdoor programmes, sports clubs, the Vandal Spirit Squad, and Vandal Health Education. There are around 170 student clubs and organisations on campus. The University of Idaho Library is the state's largest library, with over a million books and almost a thousand print and online magazines.
