Campus

The UIC campus is spread out over a large area, including magnificent grounds, halls, a recreational complex, and teaching buildings. A student centre is a gathering area for students to congregate, play, study, eat, and socialise with their peers. The Hull House dining hall was conserved and renovated by UIC, and a museum was constructed to honour Jane Addams' legacy. The house has displays, and the dining hall is frequently used for events. Furthermore, each fall, UIC offers Spark in the Park, a free, exclusive back-to-school concert for students only. On campus, there is a gym as well as a Starbucks coffee. The UIC Flames play in the Horizon League, which consists of ten public and private colleges, in 20 NCAA Division 1 sports. Almost one-third of students reside within one and a half miles of school. The site was recently refurbished with a 550 million USD infusion of resources.
