The University of Salford, founded in 1967, is a renowned public institution of higher education and research in Salford, Great Manchester, New England. It was founded in 1896 as the Royal Technical Institute before becoming the College of Advanced Technology in 1956. Students can now enrol in professional development, short courses, pre-sessional, foundation year, degree apprenticeship, and single module programmes in addition to conventional UG, PG, and doctoral courses.
