University of San Francisco
The Jesuit University of San Francisco (USF) is located in San Francisco, California. The university, founded by the Jesuits like St. Ignatius Academy in 1855, began as a single room classroom that later became downtown San Francisco. Today, the University of San Francisco accepts international students in 43 majors and 71 minors. Prospective students can also pursue studies in one of eight dual degree programmes or one of seven unique programmes.

Cost of attendance

The institution's main campus is located on a 55-acre site between Golden Gate Park and the Golden Gate Bridge. It is known as "The Hilltop," and a portion of it is located on Lone Mountain, a key topographical feature of San Francisco. There are over 27 academic, administrative, housing, and recreational facilities on its four other satellite campuses. Over 120 student organisations are available to all students at the university. UCF competes in NCAA Division I and has 26 intramural and club sports.


Since 1953, the University of San Francisco and its School of Management are accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC).
