Some assignments, particularly single-occupancy room types, have higher rents. Furthermore, USC Housing has collaborated with Off-Campus Housing 101 to provide students with listings of all available rentals from private landlords near both university campuses.

Campus

The university is divided into two main campuses, both of which are located in the heart of Los Angeles. The University Park Campus of USC is located in the University Park district of Los Angeles, 4.4 miles (7.08 kilometres) southwest of Downtown Los Angeles, and is also within walking distance of Los Angeles landmarks such as the Shrine Auditorium and the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. The USC Keck School of Medicine, the School of Pharmacy, and three major teaching hospitals are located on the Health Sciences Campus, which is located northeast of downtown Los Angeles. USC has programmes and centres in Marina Del Rey, Orange County, Sacramento, Washington, D.C., Catalina Island, Alhambra, and other areas throughout Southern California.

Accredition

The University of Southern California has been fully and continuously accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, the Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) since March 6, 1949.
