In 1931, Tampa Junior College became the University of Tampa. In 1933, it was formally named the University of Tampa. The university building was formerly known as the Tampa Bay Hotel, and it had 5 stories and 511 rooms when it was completed between 1888 and 1891. Today, the University provides over 200 study programmes to its students, including 14 graduate degrees as well as a variety of majors, minors, pre-professional programmes, and certificate programmes.

Off-campus accommodation costs roughly 1000 to 1500 USD per month on average.

Campus

It is now a cutting-edge complex with laboratories, administrative offices, and classrooms. The main university campus, located on Kennedy Blvd in Tampa, Florida, fosters a dynamic learning experience. On campus, there are 11 modern housing halls and 28 dining places, as well as around 300 student groups, clubs, and teams. Softball, football, soccer, basketball, and ultimate Frisbee are among the sports available to students, as are a variety of off-campus activities. Students can join one of the university's fraternities or sororities to meet like-minded people. Tampa is a family and cultural vacation destination with plenty of fun and entertainment options. There are also a number of parks, museums, gardens, markets, and restaurants.

Accredition

The University has been accredited by SACSCOC since 1951, and since that time has earned several specialized, discipline-specific accreditations. 

Jobs and Placement

The programmes are entirely capable of garnering contracts and great employment for their pupils. Most significantly, these programmes can help pupils develop certain talents. The average pay range for a college graduate is between $30,200 and $50,600 USD. A maximum number of students from history, law, and other related subjects have been hired.
