The Institution of Utah is a public research university in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. The University of Utah was founded as the University of Deseret in 1850. Students who like adrenaline-pumping sports can join the Freeskier Society, an organisation that offers skiing opportunities. On campus, there are community service programmes. Students can participate in these services and contribute to a novel cause. They have a variety of recreational activities available to them, such as weekend road trips to Utah's red rock wonderlands or participation in the MUSS games. The University has maintained its accreditation through the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) continuously since 1933.

The Career & Professional Development Center assists both graduate and undergraduate students with career planning, job searches, and internships. Career counselling is available to students for excursions, resumes, job searches, and interviews. Jobs and internships can also be found through the Handshake portal, and the university has a long history of job success. Internships and jobs are available on campus through the university. Google, Biofire, Overstock, Skullcandy, Salt Lake County, and many others are among the top recruiters. The average beginning wage for University of Utah graduates is roughly $53,400 USD.
