In addition to a world-class academic medical centre, the University of Washington has campuses in Seattle, Tacoma, and Bothell. At the institute, there are up to 1,000 student organisations open to all students. Across the university's three campuses, there are about 500 structures. In the 50 residences given by the University, more than 1000 students can be accommodated. There are 26 libraries on campus, as well as several academic, administrative, and athletic facilities. There are also 20 active varsity men's and women's teams at the university. Approximately 71% of the institute's freshman live on campus in one of the numerous residential facilities.
