Western Kentucky University
The Commonwealth of Kentucky established Western Kentucky University in 1906. Western Kentucky Institution, a public university in Bowling Green, Kentucky, offers a diverse range of courses and programmes for students pursuing undergraduate, postgraduate, and even research degrees. The institution was founded in 1876 by A. W. Mell, but its roots go back further. It was renamed Southern Normal School and Business College after it relocated to Bowling Green in 1884.
