Wright State University
The founding fathers of Wright State University, Stanley Allyn and Robert S. Oelman, broke ground on Allyn Hall, the campus's first structure, in 1963. The following year, it was given its current name in honour of the Wright brothers. Notably, the university was granted independence in 1967. Wright State University now has 315 undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, and professional degree programmes spread over five colleges and two schools.
