Canadore College was established in 1967 as a branch of Cambrian College in Sudbury. It gained independence in 1972. Canadore College currently provides around 170 certificates and diplomas, as well as over 357 courses. Campus

Canadore College has three sites in North Bay: the Aviation Campus, the Commerce Court, and the Education Centre. In addition, the College has a new campus in Parry Sound, Ontario, between Barrie and Sudbury. The college's Harris Learning Library is one of the largest among the libraries in the Ontario college system. Students can spend their free time enjoying the free gym service, fitness centre, ski trails, walking trails, and other amenities. The College is an active member of the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) and has developed over 40 recreational programmes on campus with the help of the Panther Athletic Council (PAC).

The Language Programs are accredited by Languages Canada and the Nursing Programs are accredited by Canadian Association Of Schools Of Nursing. Also, the other programs are accredited by Human Resources Professionals Association Of Ontario.

Jobs and Placement

Canadore College offers its students a variety of job search websites, job programmes, and job groups through which they can participate and find work prospects in Canada. A Canadore College graduate's annual salary is expected to be over 70,000 CAD. Over 70% of graduates are employed full-time, with the remaining 10% pursuing additional education. The institute also hosts a number of workshops and meetups to provide candidates with chances. Six months after graduation, 89.3 percent of Canadore College alumni find work in their field.
