Campus

Lancaster University's campus is located on the Bailrigg campus, a lovely 560-acre parkland setting only three miles from Lancaster city centre. The institution is home to the Peter Scott Gallery, which contains the university's foreign art collection, which includes antiquities, Japanese and Chinese art, and works by twentieth-century British painters, among other things. Another university campus known as Forest Hills is used as a conference venue. At the university sports facility, there is a 25-meter swimming pool with 8 lanes and a 'floating floor.' The facility features 1,300 technology-enabled workplaces organised around a central atrium filled with natural light. There are eight tennis courts, six Association Football pitches, five netball courts, a trim path, three rugby pitches, two floodlit synthetic grass pitches, a crown bowling green, and a forest walk on the campus.

LUMS' accreditation was confirmed in 2021 after its first-ever application was reviewed by an independent panel. 

Jobs and Placement

Students can schedule an appointment with a counsellor, and the employment service team posts several part-time job openings. The team also assists with CV creation, cover letter writing, interview preparation, and has hosted numerous employment and career-related events. Deloitte, Loreal, IBM, Body Shop, Unilever, Intel, EY, Morgan Stanley, Tesco, Renault, and many other companies recruit Lancaster alumni. 89 percent of graduates go on to be employed within six months of graduation. In 207-2018, the average placement salary for graduates was 18,000 AUD.
