Marist College
Marist College is a private liberal arts college. College-level courses were first provided at the institute in 1929, and it was granted an official 4-year charter by the state of New York in 1946. Following then, the campus began to grow with the building of a gymnasium, library, and halls. Marist now offers 47 Bachelor's degrees, 11 Master's degrees, one Doctorate degree, and two Certificate degrees. Business, Management, Marketing, Communication, Journalism, Psychology, Computer and Information Sciences, and Biological and Biomedical Sciences are the most popular majors at Marist College.

The main campus, which spans 180 acres and is located near the Hudson River Valley, is an excellent place to live and learn. It also owns the 60-acre Payne Estate on the Hudson River's west bank. The Payne Estate in New York offers programmes that educate and teach people in the art of leadership for jobs in industry, government, and the nonprofit sector. It also has a branch campus in Florence, Italy, and owns the 14th floor of 420 Fifth Avenue in Midtown Manhattan. The university offers around 80 student clubs and organisations, as well as teams that compete in sports such as basketball and volleyball. The Florence branch campus consists of 10 buildings in 4800 square metres in San Lorenzo and offers a variety of bachelor's degrees as well as a Master of Arts in Museum studies.


Marist College is accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) Accreditation System in accordance with the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) Standards.

Jobs and Placement

Marist provides a career centre to assist students in assessing their potential and searching for appropriate careers. Students can take classes at the College to learn how to write successful resumes, improve their interview skills, and network effectively. On-campus and virtual career fairs are hosted, and the college also subscribes to FoxQuest to connect companies with students through a single platform. Within two years of graduation, 95 percent of university graduates receive an average salary of 56,900 USD, which is greater than the national average of 33,028 USD per year.
