Accommodation

On-campus housing is not available at Queensland University of Technology. However, through its office of accommodation services, it supports students in finding suitable accommodation options in Australia. There are a variety of housing alternatives near to campus. Student housing complexes include basic amenities such as a bed, study desk, kitchen, common spaces, and shared bathrooms. Students living in residential complexes pay between 265 and 500 AUD a week in rent. Students can also hunt for student housing through an agency or search online. The rent for such housing ranges from 150 to 300 AUD a week, depending on whether the student lives alone or in a shared apartment.

Acceptance rate

Almost 8,000 of our 50,000 students are international students from more than 100 countries. It follows a competitive admission policy with an acceptance rate of around 70-80%.

Campus

The Queensland University of Technology has campuses in Gardens Point and Kelvin Grove, both of which are located 2 kilometres north of the city. Both of these sites offer studies in a variety of fields. QUT's main campus is in Kelvin Grove, and it houses the faculties of Creative Industries, Health, and Education. The Gardens Point campus, in the heart of Brisbane, houses the faculties of Business, Law, Science, and Engineering. The Canberra Executive Education Centre, located in Deakin, offers a variety of business and professional development courses. Each of the university's campuses provides a variety of facilities on and off campus, such as libraries and collaborative learning spaces, sports facilities, food and retail outlets, entertainment venues, and so on. A pool, stadium, gym, workout lounge, student sport groups, and other recreational amenities are available on the Kelvin Grove campus.

Their accreditation has been awarded by the world's leading Business School accreditation authorities: Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, International (AACSB) European Foundation for Management Development (EQUIS) Association of MBAs (AMBA).

The Queensland University of Technology gives its graduates a wide range of career services. Career fairs and faculty-specific fairs, such as the QUT Business School Careers Fair, Science and Engineering Careers, Education Stepping Out Conference, and others, are organised by the university. The institute also provides input on resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles, as well as advice on how to start a business. Nestle, Cadbury, Johnson & Johnson, Unilever, and other companies recruit at the university.
