The University of Melbourne
Since 1853, the University of Melbourne, Australia's second oldest university, has been home to thousands of students. Cost of attendance

International students enrolling in a full-time programme can choose between university housing (owned by the University of Melbourne) and residential residences. International students can live and learn in the university's six campus houses and three precincts. The weekly rent for University of Melbourne accommodation ranges from 200 to 800 AUD. Those who have not been assigned university housing should contact the Student Housing Service. It assists in locating alternate housing options such as the private rental market, homestays, regional accommodations, and so on.

The Parkville campus is 36 hectares in size and home to five libraries: The Baillieu Library, the Brownless Biomedical Library, the Eastern Resource Centre, the Giblin Eunson Library, and the Law Library. Aside from campuses, the university is linked to three urban innovation precincts: The Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, the Melbourne Arts Precinct, and Melbourne Connect. The campus houses 11 libraries, 12 museums and galleries, and 38 cultural collections. Furthermore, students have the opportunity to participate in a diverse range of cultural activities through 200 affiliated clubs and societies.


Melbourne Business School and the Faculty of Business and Economics, at the University of Melbourne have been awarded a five year joint EFMD Quality Improvement System (EQUIS) accreditation for excellence in business and economics education.
