The University of New South Wales was founded in 1949 and is located in the Kensington area of north east Sydney. It features excellent research facilities as well as strong industry connections. Accommodation

Both domestic and international students can live on campus at the University of Sydney. There are five residential halls with a total capacity of 1,131 students. While the eight residential colleges have a total capacity of 1,783 students. The University of Sydney provides two major types of residences: university accommodation and residential colleges. The former is available to all students, whilst the latter is available depending on the college/school you are enrolled in. Staying off-campus is a less expensive choice because annual living on-campus costs roughly 12,000 AUD and off-campus costs around 7,800 AUD.

There are 63602 students registered in total. In addition, the university has a total of 20204 overseas students. The acceptance rate is set at 30%.

Campus

The campus of the University of Sydney has a lot to offer. The campus is separated into two parts: upper and bottom. The two campuses are separated by an elevation that rises between the quadrangle and the Scientia building. You can join over 250 clubs and groups that offer a wide range of cultural, social, and sporting activities. Students at the University of Sydney can also host their own talk shows on SURG, the university's radio station. There are other events, including as Mardi Gras, International fests, Sydney Ideas, Pop fests, music and art festivals, and so on, that provide students with ongoing engagement and amusement.

Accredition

The university hold two of the world's leading business school accreditations: AACSB and EQUIS. These are complemented by accreditations from recognised professional bodies. UNSW Business School also holds accreditation from the US-based AACSB International.

Jobs and Placement

The university is ranked fourth in the world by QS for graduate employability. The University's career services help students define their career paths, create applications, and find jobs. Depending on the degree you are enrolled in, additional placement and internship possibilities are available. The institution has partnerships with well-known corporations such as Microsoft, Telstra, Sirtex Medical, and Qantas.
