Accommodation

Lister Residence, which includes the 'Classic' Lister towers, Kelsey Hall, and Henday Hall, is the on-campus hostel residence for first-year students. The home offers both furnished, dorm-style and unfurnished, apartment-style accommodations with basic amenities such as dining halls, library, laundry, and TV lounges. For eight months, on-campus living costs a student between 3,8400 and 9,555 CAD. They are offered based on seat availability; thus applicants should apply for the residency as soon as possible. Campus

The university has approximately 38,000 students divided throughout its 18 faculties, which are spread across five locations, the main campus being North Campus. The north campus of the University of Alberta is located in the centre of Edmonton, near to a green river valley, and spans over 50 city blocks, with over 150 buildings. The university's prominent location provides students easy access to a diverse choice of restaurants, cultural institutions, and stores. Libraries, laboratories, lodging and eating, sports, and a fitness facility are all available on campus. UAlberta's north campus is home to over 400 research laboratories and institutes, Canada's second-largest research library system, and hundreds of classrooms that provide a welcoming atmosphere for teachers, students, and researchers. South Campus, Augustana Campus, Campus Saint-Jean, and Enterprise Square are the other campuses.

Accredition

As of January 2022, the Council has accredited 68 school of public health. In addition to the University of Alberta's School of Public Health, there are 63 in the U.S. two in Taiwan, one in Peurto Rico, one in Mexico, and one in Canada.

The majority of faculties and degrees offered at UAlberta allow students to participate in co-op programmes or work placement opportunities to obtain hands-on experience for positions they may take on in the future and to enhance their CVs.
