The University of British Columbia is a public research university that was founded in 1908. The University of British Columbia (UBC) is a global centre for teaching, learning, and research, consistently ranked among the world's top 20 public universities, and recently named North America's most international university. The institute has two main campuses, one in Vancouver and the other in the Okanagan Valley.
