Campus

The University of Maryland Campus is a thriving and expanding collegiate community that offers a wide range of entertainment and activities. Aside from the well-known hiking and bicycling route that goes straight through campus, other amenities include Amazon Hub Locker+, TargetExpress, shopping malls, grocery stores, movie theatres, and so on. On campus, there are over 800 groups, fraternities, and sororities. There is also an improv comedy troupe, political clubs, sports clubs, religious organisations, and student branches of professional associations. From 7 a.m. to midnight, the two dining halls provide Mongolian stir-fries, gourmet burgers, rotisserie meats with comfort sides, made-to-order sandwiches, and more. Six days a week, the third dining hall serves lunch and dinner. Additionally, there are cafes in academic buildings, food courts in Stamp Student Union and Martin Engineering, and five convenience stores on campus. UMD offers one of the most extensive and successful athletic programmes in the country, with intramural, club sports, and Division I teams.
